We've been talking about this... time to start hashing out details here. We've been discussing a ride/easter egg hunt in the forest the Saturday before Easter. Of course food and fun ... cause that's what this group does Clapping - Yeah

Easter facts... or another reason you MUST attend our Easter Ride Thumbsup

Do you realize how early Easter is this year? As you may know, Easter
is always the 1st Sunday after the1st full moon after the Spring Equinox
(which is March 20). This dating of Easter is based on the lunar
calendar that Hebrew people used to identify Passover, which is why it moves around on our Roman calendar.

Found out a couple of things you might be interested in! Based on the
above, Easter can actually be one day earlier (March 22) but that is
pretty rare.

Here's the interesting info. This year is the earliest Easter any of us
will ever see the rest of our lives! And only the most elderly of our population have ever seen it this early (95 years old or above!). And none of us have ever, or will ever, see it a day earlier! Here's the facts:

1) The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be the year 2228
(220 years from now). The last time it was this early was 1913 (so if
you're 95 or older, you are the only ones that were around for that!).

2) The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be in the year 2285
(277 years from now). The last time it was on March 22 was 1818.

So, no one alive today has or will ever see it any earlier than this year!

Interesting!

So don't miss our Easter Ride... Thumbsup

We'll meet at the Wally World in Moncks Corner... maybe after meeting in Summerville for breakfast... We'll hit a few spots then head for the egg hunt... via GPS... bring yourself a sandwich and water and cokes... other than that... no particular plans yet... We're pretty seat of the pants around here... haven't you noticed Laughing

Looks like I'm good for the ride. I invited the guy across the street from me too, he has a '95 I think, stock tires though, but he said he would love to come out.

I'd love to make it out to this. We'll have to see what my studying schedule looks like for this next weekend.

Sorry I've been on hiatus for the past two weeks. School's getting a little hectic to say the least.

Tur out there is a wi-fi connecton here at Camp McCredy. I should at least be able to make it, Debra maybe. Next weekend is a long way away. Y'all watch the weather down there. We just had some messy stuff up here. Now I just heard there is hail and wind down there.

Looks like we should have a good turnout. Looked at the weather, partly cloudy with 77 deg. Deb doesn't have the kids this week (spring break) so she is going to try and get out their and get the course layed out. Happy Yella Jeep
