Helped a freind of mine make his xj doorless. we did the hinges just like on a wrangler. it turned out great and looks sweet. so now mine will be getting done here soon once i fix my t-case problem and find where all the electrical plugs are.

I think cherokees and grands look hawt doorless. WP has tube doors that make em safer and cooler. Does 4wd have a cherokee catalog. I am trying to talk my step dad out of his 5.9 liter 98 grand Limited. Its 4wd and runs likd a bat out of hell. It cries out for a 4" lift and a set of 31s lol.

watch the doorless on grands I think the body flexes to much and can ruin the surounds i have seen the roof rack pop out of the roof and fly off from flexing the grand to the max.

i've done this before. i did the front doors like a wrangler, left the back ones on for the kids. BODY FLEX IS A BIG PROBLEM. at the minimum get frame stiffeners along the channels from front to back between the wheel wells.
when i had mine on a lift at work, i couldnt open the doors because of all the flex. and i didnt even drive that one off road.
