With all the choices its hard to decide. After my connecting rod snapped on my 4.0 and the issues getting it working again left me thinking.

Do I keep the 4.0 or start shopping for something else. Cost wise a reman 4.0 is best but about $2000 shipped. Or for $4000 the golen direct swap 4.6 stroker is a nice upgrade in power equal to most stock v8s.

The idea of a v8 swap is a often done thing. Off the shelf conv adapters make it easier. Still costs can grow fast eve with a cheap donor. Costs can reach $5000 in no time like that $750 radiator. Not to mention labor and down time.
